Fresh 48 Session, Cook County, IL

Fresh 48 sessions are sessions that take place at the hospital within the first 48 hours of birth. They are lifestyle, capturing the raw newness of your new bundle of joy. They are surely one of my favorite sessions to photograph! There is nothing better than seeing that new love between a family and their newest addition. I love capturing all those little details that change much too quickly. Those first yawns, tiny baby feet, little fingers, and first greetings.  And I must say that this time is in the hospital can be such a blur! At least for me!

I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know this sweet sweet family over the past couple of years and I was so excited to hear they would be welcoming a new baby boy into their family! By the looks of it, big brother is already a pro! Baby Gavin was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate and will be going through some procedures as he grows so please keep him in your thoughts! He is so strong and such a trooper and got to go home right away! He was the sweetest little love bug when I visited him at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates for their session!
